The following nations are eligible for this scholarship: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, China, Switzerland, Japan, and Hong Kong. The duration of the scholarship is 2 years for master’s programs and 4 years for doctoral programs.

Requirements:
- Age of applicant should not exceed 35 years.
- Age relaxation for faculty members by five years.
- Minimum grade point average (CGPA) of 3 out of 4 OR 3.75 out of 5 in first division or the semester system (not less than 60%).
- GRE / TOFEL is required.
Eligibility Criteria:
- For the HEC scholarship, candidates from all around Pakistan are welcome to apply.
- Males and females are both eligible.
- The applicant cannot already be a recipient of another scholarship.
- The awards are for Master’s & Ph.D programs.
- For a Ph.D., candidates must have earned at least a second division throughout their whole academic career. 18 years of schooling.
- BE/BS or a master’s degree, which is the equivalent of 16 years of education
